LGU Bacnotan personnel, Barangay Health Workers (BHW) Federation of Bacnotan, Paratong Elementary School teachers and Barangay Poblacion Council conduct malunggay tree planting at Sitio Paratong, Poblacion, Bacnotan, La Union on January 23, 2022.

This was done in support to the municipality’s heightened promotion of sustainable community food production. In total, the group was able to plant thirty (30) trunks of malunggay trees, one (1) banana shoot, and three (3) kamoteng kahoy. Another batch of BHWs will conduct the same activity on January 29, 2022 at the same site.
